Inspiration Road was in dire need of reconstruction and rehabilitation due to the increase of traffic in the great city of Mission, Texas. TCC faced many challenges with utility conflicts throughout the project. However, TCC, the City of Mission, the engineer, and utility companies were able to work together to come to a resolution to ensure TCC stayed ahead of schedule and minimize any delays.
TCC removed and reworked existing pavement throughout the project limits. TCC lime-treated the subgrade and cement-treated the flexible base. TCC installed curb & gutter, drainage (new storm sewer system), sidewalks, and 3in. of asphalt concrete pavement.
Project estimated at 29 months, TCC is ahead of schedule and is expected to complete the job within 20 months.
