North Alamo St.

North Alamo Rd. Roadway Improvement

Limits: From FM 1925 (Monte Cristo Rd.) to 0.5 miles north of FM 1925

This project introduced a new corridor in the great city of Edinburg.

The realignment began with extensive grading work, which adjusted the elevation and contour of the land to establish a stable foundation for the new roadway alignment. The subgrade was treated with cement to enhance its load-bearing capacity and durability.

Mile 6 West Rd. Roadway Improvement

Limits: From Mile 9 to Mile 11

This project focused of the reconstruction of an existing roadway, involving a full-depth reconstruction to restore and improve the roadway’s structural integrity and longevity.

The scope of work included grading to prepare the site, followed by cement treatment of the subgrade to stabilize the underlying soil. A cement-treated flexible base was installed to provide a strong foundation, and the roadway was repaved with asphalt.

FM 802

FM 802 State Highway Improvement

Limits: From FM 1847 to Old Port Isabel Rd.

This project consisted of the reconstruction and widening of a non-freeway facility, expanding it to four lanes to improve traffic flow and capacity.

The scope of work included grading to prepare the site for construction, followed by the application of a lime-treated subgrade to stabilize the soil. A flexible base was installed to provide a solid foundation, and the roadway was paved with durable asphalt.

Key infrastructure improvements included the construction of culvert structures to manage water flow and prevent flooding. Riprap was placed in strategic areas to protect against erosion.

This reconstruction and widening project resulted in a more efficient roadway that can accommodate increased traffic volumes and support future growth in the area.

Bicentennial Blvd.

Bicentennial Blvd. Extension

Limits: From SH 107 to Trenton Rd.

This project introduced a new corridor in the great city of McAllen. The Bicentennial Boulevard extension was designed to enhance connectivity and accommodate future traffic demands in the area.

The construction process started with grading to prepare the site, followed by the application of a lime-treated subgrade to stabilize the underlying soil. A flexible base was laid down to provide structural support for the roadway, which was surfaced with durable asphalt concrete pavement.

The project also included the installation of curbs and gutters for effective drainage, and a traffic noise barrier to reduce sound levels for nearby communities. Riprap was used to protect against erosion in critical areas, and an irrigation system was installed to maintain landscaped areas along the boulevard.
