FM 1015 (International Blvd.) State Highway Improvement

Limits: From IH-2 to 2.6 miles south of IH-2

This project focuses on the rehabilitation of an existing urban 5-lane non-freeway facility, aimed at restoring and enhancing the roadway’s structural integrity and functionality.

The project includes grading to prepare the site for construction, followed by the stabilization of the underlying soil with a lime-treated subgrade. A cement-treated flexible base will be installed to provide a strong foundation for the roadway, which will then be paved with asphalt concrete.

Improvements will also be made to the road’s curb and gutter systems to enhance drainage and road edge definition. Sidewalks will be constructed to improve pedestrian accessibility and safety.

2025 UPDATE:

For the construction of rehabilitation 5. Lane none freeway facility consisting of grading, lime treated subgrade, cement treated flexible base, asphaltic concrete payment, curb and gutter, sidewalks, payment markings, signing and traffic signals

FM676 (Mile 5) State Highway Improvement

Limits: From Taylor Rd. to FM 2220 (Ware Rd.)

This project includes the construction and widening of FM 676 (Mile 5) from a 2-lane roadway to a 4-lane divided highway. The expanded roadway is designed to improve traffic capacity and safety in the area.

The scope of work includes comprehensive grading to prepare the site, the installation of a lime-treated subgrade for soil stabilization, and the application of a flexible base to support the new roadway structure. The pavement will be constructed with durable asphalt concrete.
